Hello. It's me, Katie.
I'm an independent full time Artist, living in South Manchester, UK. I try to paint the beauty I see in every day life, which for me could be anything from the lamp post in the street to the wonderful cherry blossoms in spring maybe even the grid at the side of the pavement.
I create my art work using acrylic on canvas and have started to find a new love for watercolours! and creating what I like to think are wholesome images.
I first started drawing when I was about 8 years old. We would go to Grandma and Grandad's for Sunday dinner and after we'd all eaten and whilst the grown ups drank wine and nibbled at the cheese board, I'd sit and draw them, if only I had some of those images now !
Art Sessions & Workshops
Thursday Evenings 6pm - 8:30pm
I hold art sessions on a weekly basis, every Thursday evening. A place for people to create together in a calm and low-pressure environment. A gentle, creative space to feel at ease, even without words.
Slowing down to do something meaningful for yourself, alongside others.
