I like sitting in the garden in early spring, finally the days are getting longer and the sun is actually staying out. I get the picnic blanket and enjoyed the sun beaming down on my face and the chickens gently scratching and pecking around me and taking dust baths around the luscious green ferns. The simple things are just what is needed after what feels like a long winter.
