Fly Away Tulips

Original Fly Away Tulips watercolour painting on paper. Size A5. Design available as greeting card.

Another trip to Dunham Massey. I just finished a half day at my old job and drove straight there to meet Dave and his mum and step dad for lunch. We got to walk round the gardens and soak in the beaming sunshine and the bright and beautiful tulips dotted around. I especially liked these fiery red tulip, if spicey had a "look" then I would use this painting to describe spicey. The colours are so " look at me , I am here " . I painted this in December, which is quite a while after I took the actual photo but what a delight to see when looking back.
